Katie Bakken is a PGA & LPGA teaching professional, who brings over two decades of elite golf experience to Brookview Golf Academy, blending a standout competitive career with a deep passion for instruction.
A former touring professional, Katie competed in multiple LPGA events, including the U.S. Women’s Open and Women’s British Open, and spent years playing on the Ladies European Tour. A former Golden Gopher Golf Captain and two-time Minnesota Women’s Open Champion, Katie now focuses on helping golfers of all levels improve their game. With 15+ years of experience as a Teaching Pro, she is a certified PGA & LPGA Class A Golf Instructor. Katie has taught thousands of junior golfers, beginners, and competitive players, delivering expert instruction in full swing, short game, putting, and on-course strategy.
Katie’s coaching style is patient, encouraging, and rooted in the fundamentals of solid technique and game awareness. Whether you're a new golfer or looking to elevate your skills, Katie is passionate about helping you build confidence and reach your goals on the course.

Mike Seiffert has earned the prestigious certification of PGA of America Master Professional. He has over 25 years of teaching & coaching experience and has helped thousands of golfers of all ages and abilities improve their technical skills while also making the learning process fun. Mike has a wealth of knowledge in the game of golf and is passionate about helping his students improve their skills and lower their scores.

PRIVATE LESSONS
Golf Instructor - Dan Meron
Dan is a Minnesota native and former professional golfer, as well as a former professional tennis player. He competed on the Golden Bear Golf Tour founded by Jack Nicklaus in Florida, where Dan put his golf game to the test going head-to-head against other tour pros. After his competitive career Dan became a PGA of America certified golf instructor and was a member of the Florida Section of the PGA for many years. He specializes in helping his students generate more power & increase distance off the tee. From his days as powerhouse pro he shares his expertise with the students he coaches. Dan coaches competitors in the World Long Drive Championship. In addition to providing golf instruction at Brookview, he holds dual roles as Head Golf Professional & Director of Instruction for golf programming at Lifetime in St. Louis Park.
