Meet The Pros
Brookview's teaching staff is experienced and well-trained. Most importantly, they enjoy giving lessons to players of all skill levels.
To schedule a private lesson, call the Brookview Golf Shop at 763-512-2300. Golf Shop personnel will be happy to help schedule a lesson in advance.
MICHAEL TURNBULL has been teaching golf since 1977, and has been teaching at Brookview since 2005. A three-time winner of the Minnesota PGA Junior Golf Leader award, he also served as the PGA Head Professional at Balboa Park GC in San Diego and at Baker National GC in Medina, Minnesota.
Michael emphasizes learning by doing, rather than thinking about doing. You will learn from each and every shot you hit. You won’t have to memorize a series of movements, remember a lot of instructions, or try really hard to do anything right. Students will have many choices about how they want to swing a golf club, instead of trying so hard to swing the “right” way.

What can you expect from your lessons with Dee Forsberg?
- Fun! There is no better feeling than playing better golf.
- Video—A picture is worth a thousand words. Seeing your swing in high-speed video alongside a world class player will give you the visuals to learn faster and more efficiently.
- Notes—We remember only 1/5th of what we hear. Relax in your lesson and take it all in. Your notes and made-to-order practice plan (with pictures) will be emailed within 24 hours.
- Support—The learning process isn’t always easy. Dee has been through the whole process herself. As a player, competitor, working parent, and busy professional, she understands what life throws your way and can get you through it with a smile.
