A junior league player tees off
2009 Junior Golf League
The Junior Golf League is for ages 6 - 17 and begins mid-June with a year-end tournament on July 27.
League fees include: Orientation/Fun Day, tee prize, weekly golf event, prizes, club championship, and refreshments. All weekly green fees are included in the registration fee.
It is important that each participants registers for their specific age group.
- Ages 6 - 12 are required to play on the Par 3 course. Juniors playing on the Par 3 will play in a Monday morning league. Tee times begin at 6:30 am. The Par 3 league is limited to 150 registered players.
- Ages 13 - 17 who score more than 42 are required to play on the Par 3 course. (Ages 13 - 17 who can shoot a score of 42 or less on the Par 3 course can play the regulation course.)
- Ages 13-14 will play nine holes off the back nine beginning at 6:30 am. This age group is limited to the first 48 registered players.
- Ages 15-17 will play 18 holes, starting off the first tee at 6:30 am. This age group is limited to 48 registered players.
Orientation

Brookview Community Center
Participants of the Junior Golf Program must start their season with an orientation/fun day on Monday, June 15 from 8:30-11:30 am, to learn the rules and etiquette of golf. Following the introduction, juniors will participate in clinics at the driving range and putting green. They will also receive a gift and refreshments, and sign up for a tee time for the following week of play, which begins on June 22. It is mandatory that all new participants to the program attend this session and is highly recommended for all participants. Juniors may play 9-holes FREE on the Par 3 course before 2 pm on June 15. Those who do not attend the orientation session will not receive their gift and will not be able to sign up for their tee times for June 22 until after the orientation session is complete.
Registration
Registrations are on a first-come, first-served basis beginning on March 12. Be sure to register for the correct age group. There will only be one orientation time for all participants this year. Registration is not required for orientation.
